About The Author

My Review

Demi and Robson are wonderfully complex, both carrying deep emotional scars—grief, addiction, and depression are central themes.Their relationship unfolds gently, rooted in shared pain and a growing trust that feels authentic and deeply earned. Rather than being weighed down by heavy topics, the story wraps you in warmth, striking a delicate balance between emotional depth and hope. The town of Port Berry itself is a standout—full of heart, vibrant characters, and the kind of community that makes you feel instantly at home.

This book is a beautifully tender story about love, loss, and the slow, courageous path toward healing. This is a slow, emotionally rich read with just the right touch of romance and realism. It is a quiet, soul-soothing journey that reminds us love can be found even in the most broken places.

The Enforcer By Zara Cox

Underboss, enforcer, executioner

I’m the Enforcer—the last face you see when there’s no one left to hear you scream. I finally know who killed my mother, and I’m ready to burn the world to the ground. But as I move to strike, she’s already there. Sofiya Mancinelli. Assassin. Enemy. Two steps ahead. And when she puts a gun to my head, all I can think is – she was sent to kill me, but how the hell do I survive long enough to make her mine?

Assassin, seductress, enemy

I’m the Assassin. My job is simple: stop Rafaele Salvatore from taking revenge. But I’ve always had a thing for scorching-hot psychos—and the brutal, dirty-talking Enforcer is the most compelling I’ve ever met. Instead of ending him, I agree to a thirty-day truce. He doesn’t know I plan to make him fall for me. Hard. Even if it means he forgets everything he’s bled for.

Review Card & Book Review- Second Chance At Sunshine Inn By Amy Clipston

Two polar opposites, one cozy inn–and one sweet and surprising chance at unlikely love.

When Everleigh Hartnett, a cheerful traveling NICU nurse who can’t sit still, inherits half of her godmother’s beloved seaside bed-and-breakfast, she dreams of selling the place to fund the nonprofit she and her godmother always envisioned. But there’s one tiny problem: her new co-owner. Rugged, grumpy, and fiercely loyal to the inn, Cade Witherspoon isn’t about to let his peaceful life–and his new start–be sold off so easily.

Everleigh and Cade are opposites in every way. She’s sunshine and laughter, while he’s all rough edges and quiet brooding. Their clash of wills over the inn soon has them wondering what on earth Everleigh’s godmother was thinking when she left them both in charge.

As Everleigh gets to know Cade’s softer side–and Cade finds himself drawn to Everleigh’s optimism and kindness–their disagreement over the inn becomes something sweeter. But with the arrival of Cade’s long-lost brother and the looming threat of a developer sniffing around the property, they’ll have to make some hard choices–together.

Can Everleigh and Cade let go of their expectations and build something lasting together? Or will the Sunshine Inn be the place they both leave behind?

About The Author

My Review

This is a warm, emotional romance that blends heartache, healing, and hope in a charming small-town setting. Amy Clipston crafts a slow-burn love story between Everleigh Hartnett, a compassionate traveling nurse, and Cade Witherspoon, the grumpy but endearing co-owner of the Sunshine Inn.

When Everleigh unexpectedly inherits half of the inn after her godmother’s passing, tensions rise as her vision to sell and fund a nonprofit clashes with Cade’s plans to expand the business. Their conflicting goals set the stage for a compelling opposites-attract dynamic, full of tension, stubbornness, and slow-growing affection.

Everleigh’s persistence and heart balance well against Cade’s emotional walls, rooted in past heartbreak. Their evolving relationship feels believable, with well-timed emotional beats and realistic struggles. The story doesn’t just rely on romance — it explores grief, purpose, and the challenges of starting over, making it more layered than a typical love story.
