Neonatal nurse Chelsea Andrews lands a dream job caring for a newborn, unaware of her employer’s sinister motives at a lavish chalet. Ex-navySEALS Seth Jacobsen and Shawn, now security experts, visit the hospital to congratulate friends Trent Caldwell and Brianna on their newborn, only to discover the child has been kidnapped. Suspecting Marco Bresi, a businessman with a vendetta against Trent for his daughter’s death, Seth embarks on a mission to investigate properties potentially linked to Bresi to rescue the baby.
The tale brims with peril, action, and intense chemistry as Chelsea and Seth join forces to rescue baby Faith while evading their pursuers. I was instantly captivated and found it hard to put the book down. Their playful exchanges and eventual realization of deeper feelings, especially after the primary threats subsided, were a treat to read. If you’re a fan of thrill-filled romances with a perfect pairing and rapid yet convincing love stories, this book is a must-read.
