The novel shines in its blend of intense, moving medical moments and deeply personal struggles. A patient’s death hits Luke harder than anything before, triggering a chain of misunderstandings that threaten their fragile bond.

Though the title promises heat, the focus is firmly on character growth, emotional realism, and hard-won love. Sympathetic leads, thoughtful conflict, and heartfelt storytelling make this a rewarding read. is an engaging, emotionally rich medical romance that weaves seamlessly alongside CM’s earlier novel Nurse’s Nine-Month Surprise.
