This book is about magic, mishaps, and an unexpected romance sparked by amnesia and a very inconvenient ley line. This story is a playful, laugh-out-loud entry point into magical realism and light paranormal rom-com.

Coco is a magical development inspector tasked with approving Stone’s resort project—except he’s built it on a ley line that powers the town’s natural magic. Stone refuses to accept the consequences and stoops to blackmail, cementing himself as a top-tier grump. When a spell goes wrong and wipes his memory, he forgets being a jerk entirely, creating the perfect setup for forced proximity, reluctant teamwork, and a surprisingly sweet connection.

Coco is an easy heroine to root for, especially with her habit of putting everyone else first—even her chaotic family. Stone’s pre-amnesia personality makes his transformation especially satisfying, and watching him rediscover himself adds charm and humor. The lambicorn alone adds whimsical fun.

Yes, the story leans cheesy at times, but it embraces the silliness wholeheartedly. Light, funny, and bingeable, this is a perfect palate cleanser for readers wanting romance with magical chaos and plenty of laughs.
