About The Author
My Review
This book is about Kerry-Anne Daly, a Boston business owner grieving the loss of her best friend, Caitlin. When she also discovers her boyfriend’s betrayal, she impulsively escapes to Ireland and the beautiful seaside village of Sandycove, hoping for peace and a fresh start.
The story truly comes alive once Kerry-Anne arrives in Sandycove. Surrounded by the Irish coast and a colourful community, she slowly begins to rediscover joy through sailing with lively Sylvia and her charming brother Henry, braving icy swims, and embracing laughter again.
I especially enjoyed watching Kerry-Anne become involved with a group of determined women who ask for her help turning their knitting circle into a business. This adds warmth, friendship, and intriguing secrets to the story.
Although there are quite a few characters to remember, the wonderfully descriptive setting made me long for the Irish shores. The Sandycove Knitting Circle is a warm and uplifting story about grief, friendship, community, and finding unexpected happiness in a place that slowly begins to feel like home.
