Chloe needs a holiday. She’s invisible to her boss, overworked and burnt out. What she gets is a chaotic wellness retreat at a sun-drenched Ibizan villa, run by a man whose resemblance to Pedro Pascal and sublime cooking make up for seeming a bit out of his depth.
Ben has taken a sabbatical from his London restaurant, and is trying to turn his late uncle’s rundown, rustic villa into a mostly functioning retreat. He can wing the catering and count on the sunshine, but he hasn’t planned on Chloe: clumsy, brilliant, and so overworked and underappreciated it’s quietly heartbreaking.
As the week unfolds – complete with feral goats, beach raves, skinny-dipping and wedding-crashing – both of them begin to feel a glow that neither of them saw coming.
But real life is waiting for them both back in London. And real feelings are a lot harder to pack up than a suitcase.
About The Author

My Review
This book is about Chloe and Ben, two people brought together during an unexpected retreat in beautiful Ibiza. Kristen Bailey delivers a lively and entertaining rom-com packed with sunshine, humour, fun activities, and plenty of feel-good summer energy.
The story takes a little time to settle into its rhythm, with several perspectives introducing the characters and setting the scene. However, once the pace picks up, I found myself completely drawn into the retreat and its wonderfully escapist atmosphere. The Ibiza setting is a real highlight, creating the perfect vacation mood.
Chloe and Ben are both flawed and relatable characters who experience meaningful personal growth throughout their week away. While their romance leans more towards physical attraction, watching them gradually open up and benefit from the retreat adds warmth to their journey.
I particularly enjoyed seeing the positive changes in both characters and how their experiences encouraged self-reflection and confidence. Overall, Glow Job is a fun, lighthearted summer rom-com filled with humour, sunshine, and escapism—an easy, enjoyable read that would be perfect for your holiday TBR.
